Qualifications

  • Current and valid state RN license.
  • BSN preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS on hire and maintaining current.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
  • CCRN certificate preferred for Intensive Care.
  • NRP required 90 days after hire and maintained; professional certification within 2 years preferred.

Overview

Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) – ICU

Central Maine Medical Center | Lewiston, MEPart-Time | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) partners closely with department leadership and serves as the acting leader in the absence of the Director or Manager. This role oversees staffing coordination, workflow management, patient care delivery, and staff support during the assigned shift while providing direct patient care as needed.

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. The system includes Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, a 250-bed, not-for-profit regional referral hospital that is home to the region's only Cancer Care Center, an orthopedic ambulatory surgery centre, and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute. Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.2. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.3. Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.4. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.5. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

FACILITY / UNIT TRAINING

1. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care.2. Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required 90 days after hire and maintained.3. Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.80 to $54.75 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
