Job summary

Colby Community College invites applications for a part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor – Adjunct to provide on-site clinical instruction to nursing students during their clinical rotations.

The position is for on-site clinical instruction with an emphasis on supervising students, evaluating performance, and coordinating with faculty. The successful candidate will have a Kansas RN license and CPR certification, with BSN/MSN preferred, and will operate in a part-time capacity at CCC.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN license and CPR certification required.
• BSN/MSN or active progress toward a BSN/MSN is preferred.

Benefits

Hourly rate: $40.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN license and CPR certification required.
• BSN/MSN or active progress toward a BSN/MSN is preferred.

Essential Duties

• Supervise nursing students as they perform their clinical rotations in various healthcare settings.
• Assess student learning and application of course objectives and competencies.
• Coordinate with faculty on student performance and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
• Participate in professional activities and recruit and advise students as expected.

Clinical Locations

The College partners with various healthcare facilities including Valley Hope, Larned, Oakley, and Citizens. Site placements are determined based on operational and programmatic needs.

Clinical Schedule

The current schedule is for October and November 2026, with clinical dates from 10/1/26 to 11/5/26 and placements at Valley Hope and Larned. Schedules are still being finalized and will be updated when available.
