Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree required.
• Current Advanced Practice Certification required.
• Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level or higher in Nursing using both didactic and clinical methods.
• Recent clinical practice required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, teach, and evaluate courses, primarily courses related to one’s area of clinical specialization.
• Apply teaching strategies appropriate to students’ learning needs.
• Engage in scholarly activities including, but not limited to, publication of clinical, pedagogical, or research-based papers in journals or books; presentations at local, regional or national/international conferences.
• Conduct and participate in clinical scholarship, teaching scholarship, or research projects in collaboration with other faculty and students.
• Serve on faculty committees and task forces.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
