Job summary
The University of Florida College of Nursing invites applications for non-tenure track Clinical Lecturer, Clinical Assistant Professor, or Clinical Associate Professor positions. These are full-time, 12-month, 1.0 FTE faculty roles located primarily on the Gainesville campus with some potential on Jacksonville campus.
Remote work is not available. Ideal candidates hold MSN and/or doctoral degrees in nursing, with active RN licensure in Florida or eligibility.
Qualifications
- MSN from an accredited institution by date of hire.
- Current RN license; Florida licensure eligible and obtained by date of hire.
- Recent clinical experience.
- Evidence of effective teaching or demonstrated potential for success as a clinical faculty member.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate laboratory and simulation in the BSN program as assigned.
- Collaborate with faculty teaching teams to ensure excellence in instructional delivery and student outcomes.
- Participate in curriculum development, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Maintain clinical expertise and appropriate professional credentials.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students.
- Engage in continuing professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- For assistant/associate professor ranks, participate in scholarship related to clinical practice or nursing education.
