Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing (or to be obtained within 5 years of hire).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Preferred 2 years of teaching experience in a school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Explore innovative teaching strategies on the clinical unit.
• Provide quality instruction to groups of students and individuals.
• Document students’ progress and set goals with didactic faculty leaders.
• Support continuous learning by sharing research and teaching materials.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and healthcare team members.
• Serve as a role model of professional nursing practice for students.
• Provide leadership and mentoring in a professional practice setting.
• Share knowledge and skills with peers and colleagues.
• Practice solid communication skills to articulate patient care and conditions.
