Job summary

Los Angeles Community Hospital is seeking an Administrative House Supervisor to manage and supervise nursing staff, ensuring safe, effective patient care and adherence to hospital standards. You will assign duties, oversee staffing plans, and act as a clinical resource across departments.

The role requires a California RN license with at least 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in leadership, and BLS/ACLS; a BSN is preferred. Hollywood-specific certifications may apply.

Qualifications

• Three years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role in a hospital.
• Current, active California RN licensure
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Understanding of patient classification and staffing requirements
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Hollywood only)

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily facility operations on assigned shift and resolves issues using supervisor judgment.
• Directs patient care activities and coordinates staffing based on acuity and census.
• Manages bed and patient placement, credentialing of contract labor, and staff orientation/evaluation.
• Leads collaboration with healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care and adherence to policies.
• Provides coaching, training, and discipline as needed; ensures infection control and HIPAA compliance.
