Palmetto Infusion in Hickory, NC is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee ambulatory infusion center staff and ensure safe, compliant patient care. The role reports to the Director of Clinical Services and encompasses supervision, performance reviews, and staff education.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, documenting HR matters, and communicating policies while maintaining a collaborative team environment. This is a full-time, day-shift position with location-based duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN license in NC.
• Current BLS certification and active NC RN license.
• Infusion nursing experience and leadership exposure are preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise direct patient care and location operations to meet standards.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and guide staff development.
• Document HR matters accurately for direct reports.
• Collaborate with the nurse educator on orientation and ongoing training.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication across Palmetto Infusion staff.
• Uphold policies related to work standards and patient management.

About the Role:

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services, provide supervision of nursing staff in the Ambulatory Infusion Centers, ensuring that infusion services provided are appropriate, safe, and compliant with accreditation, regulatory and nursing standards.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.

Service Locations Include: Hickory, NC.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice
• BLS or obtain upon hire.
• 1 year infusion, 1 year leadership experience.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the coordination and supervision of all direct patient care as well as operational oversight in the location assigned to ensure appropriate, safe, and compliant with accreditation, regulatory and nursing standards.
• Conducts annual performance appraisals on designated employees to evaluate their performance and provide direction to improve or maintain future performance.
• Provides accurate documentation related to personnel and HR matters involving direct reports.
• Works closely with the Nurse educator in the orientation of new staff as well as continuing educational needs of all staff.
• Provides effective communication so all staff are aware of current and future information at Palmetto Infusion.
• Demonstrates knowledge of organization policies related to work standards and patient management.
