R3 is a 38-bed adult acute care unit complemented by a 6-bed intermediate care area, offering continuous cardiac monitoring throughout. The unit serves patients aged 18 and older, providing specialized care primarily for multi-trauma, burn, vascular, and general surgical cases. R3 is dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care, grounded in respect, collaboration, and teamwork among staff.
Position Summary

In accordance with national standards of nursing practice and within the guidelines and policies and procedures of both Maine Medical Center and the Maine State Board of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of nursing care. Care delivery and coordination of patient and family care begins with the initial contact with the health care system and may continue across the continuum. Services may be provided on an inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and/or community basis.
This is a part time night shift opportunity consisting of 2, 12 hour shifts per week.
