Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced full-time pediatric clinic nurse to support a team of 1–2 providers in a busy pulmonary clinic.
The role focuses on education, care coordination, and family support for children with general pulmonary issues and chronic conditions. Typical hours are 8 AM–5 PM, with potential 4/10 workdays after orientation and limited WFH for admin tasks after six months.
Posting Note: Our Pulmonary Clinic is looking for an experienced full-time nurse to join the team. In this role, you will support a group of 1 - 2 providers, and patients who visit the clinic on a regular basis for care. Because of the specialty, we are looking for a nurse with a minimum of 2+ years of experience. You will be working in the clinic alongside the providers. This is a small team of medical professionals who work primarily with children who have general pulmonary issues and neuromuscular (DMD, SMA), and there will be a large number of patients with chronic asthma problems. Incumbent will be the point person for the patients when they come in, and offer education, and solutions to the needs of the patient and their families. This position is M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM; Manager may consider 4/10's after orientation, and performance based. After 6 months, may offer one day a week of WFH for admin work. This is one of our busier clinics, but the best part is that the clinics have NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS and NO CALL!!! This position will be located at our primary hospital in Central Phoenix.
