Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating them on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural background.
