Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Magnet-recognized hospital nurse for pre-op, post-op, or PACU duties. Bring critical care or PACU experience to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will assess and care for patients, educate families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality, while documenting care plans and maintaining regulatory compliance. This role is on-site in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; BSN preferred.
• Critical care or PACU experience; no prior supervisor experience required.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role, demonstrating alertness and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Educating patients and families on post-treatment care, medication management, and injury or illness recovery.
• Participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
