Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. This full-time night position offers exposure to a broad range of challenges across highly specialized units, including ICU care and emergency response involvement.

The role requires a BSN, NYS RN licensure, and certifications (BCLS, PALS; NRP/ACLS or achievable within 3 months). A CCRN certification is preferred, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Current NYS RN licensure required.
• BCLS and PALS required.
• NRP and ACLS or can be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Two years experience in Pediatric ICU required.
• CCRN Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float pool across pediatric critical care units.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to acutely ill children.
• Collaborate with families to create a healing environment.
• Work as part of emergency response teams when needed.

This is a full time night position for our NewYork-Presbyterian /Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital Pediatric ICU Float Pool.

Preferred Criteria

• Three plus years Pediatric ICU nursing experience
• CCRN Certification

Required Criteria

• NRP and ACLS or can be obtained within 3 months of hire
• Two years experience in Pediatric ICU
