Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York City seeks a Clinical Nurse to provide safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process and Relationship Centered Care. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable if enrolled in BSN program with expected graduation this year.
• Current licensure by the state and Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care based on the nursing process and professional practice model.
• Assess patient needs and apply critical thinking in care management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to plan and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and transition of care.
• Document care accurately to meet regulatory standards.
