Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems is seeking a Physician Center Nurse (RN) to join our team in Newark, OH. Under physician supervision, you will provide nursing care across neonatal to geriatric populations in a comprehensive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing program; current licensure in Ohio.
• Maintains BCLS certification.
• Functions within scope of RN practice as defined by Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessment for planning and evaluating quality care.
• Provides direct skilled nursing care to patients.
• Administers medications ordered by a licensed provider; follows Five Rights of medication administration.
• Responds promptly to emergency situations.
• Maintains clinical competency through continuing education.
• Documents patient information in the medical record per policies.
