Job summary

Emanate Health Covina campus is hiring a Clinical Nurse Partner (CNA) for Med Surg, full time day shift. The CNA will perform patient care tasks under licensed supervision and assist with medication transport as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1 year CNA experience, strong customer service, and a valid CA CNA license with BLS. AB508/SB1299 training within 30 days is required; weekend shifts may be necessary.

Qualifications

• One year CNA experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• BLS required.
• Assaultive Behavior Training (AB508/SB1299) within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• CA CNA license or active LVN/RN student status with fundamentals completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned patient care tasks under supervision of licensed staff.
• Transport medications to/from Pharmacy/Nurse as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Report changes in patient status to supervising staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control practices.
