Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Works with complex interventional radiology cases and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. Promotes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while educating patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management. Develops and documents individualized care plans, communicates effectively across care teams, and assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and advocate for patient preferences.

Qualifications & Skills
  • RN license required
  • Nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's preferred
  • Pre/post or critical care experience preferred; no experience necessary for entry-level
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role
