Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care in a hospital setting, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director. The nurse coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process for a per diem position at Urgent Care Midtown Raleigh.

Requirements include graduation from a Board of Nursing approved program, NC RN licensure, and BLS for Healthcare Providers, with at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by NC state board.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education: identify learning needs and use patient education materials.
• Evaluation of Care: participate in care plan reviews with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation: provide competent care for patients with complex needs and coordinate with care team.
• Leadership: support unit goals and promote collaboration and cost-effective care.
• Patient Assessment: synthesize assessment data and identify needs for discharge planning.
• Planning: collaborate with patient/family to update the plan of care.
