Job summary

Penn Medicine, a leading academic medical center, seeks a Clinical Nurse 2 Colleague to join the 46-bed 5 Cathcart medical-surgical unit. You will partner with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process.

The successful candidate will hold PA RN licensure with BSN and BLS/CPR, possess 15+ months of nursing experience, and participate in a Nurse Residency program or equivalent. We support professional development and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science required.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN license required and PA licensure.
• BLS/CPR as per the American Heart Association.
• Nurse Residency program completion or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as a full partner on the health care team.
• Apply nursing process with accountability for care from infant to elderly.
• Demonstrate CQI, EBP, leadership, and teamwork within the care framework.
• Coordinate care across the continuum with interprofessional teams.
