NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse I for the Medical Stepdown unit on nights. You will care for critically ill patients in a 25-bed unit, performing ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and administration of vasoactive medications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain).
• BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• 1-2 years RN experience in acute care.
• 1 year RN stepdown/telemetry experience.

In this role you will care for critically-ill patients in our 25-bed Medical Stepdown Unit. Join our team of highly-skilled clinicians providing specialized nursing care, including ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and administration of vasoactive medications.

This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position with flexible scheduling.

Preferred Criteria

• 1-2 years of RN experience in acute care
• 1 year of RN stepdown/telemetry experience
• ACLS certification

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain)
• BCLS certification
