BARNES-JEWISH Hospital in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Clinical Nurse for the 6900 GI/GU Surgery unit. You will join a 38-bed unit with a strong ERAS program and nationally recognized GI services.
Responsibilities include direct patient care, education for patients and families, and collaboration with an interprofessional team. RN license is required; a Bachelor’s in nursing is preferred.

Our team cares for a diverse patient population ranging from teenagers to adults over 90 years old and is a leader in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) care.

We are leaders in providing Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) care. Our surgeons are leading the way in refining surgical procedures and non-operative techniques, to reduce pain, complications, and to improve outcomes. We are a 38 bed surgical unit with a goal of providing excellent care to all of our patients. Our average nurse to patient ratio is 1:4. Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
