Job summary

The Wellstar Cobb Hospital is hiring a Clinical Nurse Professional Development Educator to lead education programs, assess learning needs, and advance nursing practice across the organization.

Working with an interdisciplinary team, you will plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based educational activities, mentor staff, and promote professional development in alignment with Wellstar's Nursing Professional Practice Model and ANPD standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed and knowledgeable nursing professionals in accordance with Georgia standards.
• Experience in nursing professional development and education preferred.
• Ability to apply adult learning and instructional design principles.

Responsibilities

• Assess learning needs of target audience and identify practice gaps.
• Plan, implement and coordinate educational activities and programs.
• Evaluate progress toward learning outcomes and revise as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve education quality and outcomes.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff and leaders to promote professional development.
