Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS seeks a part-time Clinical Nurse Educator to educate healthcare professionals on patient and hemodynamic monitoring devices. You will train Registered Nurses and Physicians, assess education needs, and provide ongoing clinical support. Training is paid and regional travel is required.

Minimum 2 weeks per month availability, RN with ICU/ER experience, and active RN license are essential. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally; driving record review will be performed.

Qualifications

  • RN degree with active license in good standing
  • 3+ years ICU/ER in a hospital within last 5 years
  • Ability to travel regionally and nationally for assignments
  • Comfortable using basic software programs
  • Must meet hospital credentialing requirements and immunization policy

Responsibilities

  • Provide peer-to-peer education to nurses, physicians, and staff on patient monitoring devices
  • Assess education needs and tailor in-service sessions
  • Answer clinical questions about hemodynamics and pressure lines
  • Provide updates and feedback to client during and after in-service
  • Training will be provided and paid; travel as required

Our MedTech Clinical Nurse Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on Patient and Hemodynamic monitors.

  • Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations

  • Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience

  • Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device

  • Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments

  • Training for this role will be provided and is paid.

You will have an opportunity to travel, grow, and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry.

Schedule:
  • Minimum availability of 2 weeks per monthis required.
Required Qualifications:
  • RN Degree - Associates required, Bachelor's preferred

  • Active and Unrestricted RN license required

  • 3+ years experience in critical care (ICU or ER), in a hospital setting within the last 5 years required

  • Experience with hemodynamics and using pressure lines required

  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally required

  • Must be comfortable with basic software programs

Travel Requirement:
  • Travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.

  • Driving is considered a business requirement for this role.Candidates mustpossessa valid driver’s license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior tohire.

  • Located within 1 hour of a major airport.

  • Travel, and your time traveling is paid.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required

The potential base pay range for this role is $40-$45 per hour.
