Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead policy and procedure development, support onboarding across all units, and coordinate education programs. The educator will conduct Nurse Residency, Preceptor, CNA workshops, orientation and specialty training.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, department collaboration, and project management to improve clinical staff skills and patient care outcomes. California RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited College or University required.
• MSN preferred.
• Five years of full time experience as a licensed Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a hospital setting required.
• Five years of experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in the acute care setting preferred.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policy and procedure; onboard new team members.
• Conduct Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Orientation and New to Specialty Programs training.
• Coordinate with clinical departments and manage projects as needed.

Clinical Nurse Educator position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

ED Educator works with the team to provide high quality and evidenced base practice to all clinical and non-clinical staff at Corona Regional Medical Center. This role includes policy and procedure development, implementation of new skills, equipment, and processes. Competency validation completion for all disciplines. Onboarding new team members in all areas. Conducts training for Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Critical Care Orientation Series and ICU/SD New to Specialty Programs. Educator attends Departmental meetings as needed. Coordinates with various clinical departments and manages projects as needed
