Job summary

VA Black Hills Health Care System is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to strengthen nursing practice across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will apply adult learning principles, simulation, staff development, and resuscitation education to build clinical confidence, support new employee orientation, and advance evidence-based practice to improve Veteran care.

In this role you will lead education initiatives, assess learning needs, and collaborate with leaders and interprofessional teams

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Nursing education and staff development experience expected.
• Ability to design and deliver education programs using adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clinical education and training for nursing staff across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assess learning needs and design targeted programs to strengthen knowledge and clinical decision-making.
• Support new employee orientation and residency programs; coordinate resuscitation education initiatives.
