Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead staff education, develop curricula, and implement evidence-based training across departments.

The role requires a BSN, NY RN license, 3 years of clinical experience (OR preferred), and strong communication, with MS preferred; full-time day shift. BLS required at hire, AA/EOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, education, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nursing/Education preferred.
• Three years of clinical experience required, operating room experience required.
• Experience in precepting, curriculum development and instructional design preferred.
• Knowledge of adult education principles, learner-centered training, needs assessment and performance evaluation.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
• Must possess a comprehensive broad based knowledge to educate all levels of learners within Samaritan organization.
• Must have the ability to utilize a variety of educational tools and equipment.
• Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
