BayCare Health System in South Florida is seeking an RN for the Clinical Nurse Department Pool in the Mother/Baby unit. The role provides patient care in a hospital setting, following nursing processes, and supervising delegated tasks within the care team.

The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, organize and update plans of care with families, and identify patient risks to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifikationen

• RN license required.
• At least 18 months RN acute care experience.
• At least 1 year RN Mother/Baby experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification preferred.

Position Description: RN - Clinical Nurse Department Pool - Mother/Baby

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Nursing Department Pool Commitment:

• Minimum of 4shifts per every 6 weeks
• One Saturday and one Sunday per 6 week schedule
• One Summer and one Winter Holiday

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license
• At least 18 months RN acute care experience required
• At least 1 year RN Mother/Baby experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• NRP

Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital

Status: Pool, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:45AM - 7:15PM

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: No
