Job summary

Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Special Procedures to oversee daily operations of the EP/Biplane Lab, Cath Lab and Hybrid OR. The role includes supervising staff, providing direct patient care and collaborating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The coordinator works with leadership on budget planning and clinical operations, and supports nursing leadership across the unit, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in specialty.
• Supervisory experience required.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• RCIS preferred.
• Bachelor degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of EP/Biplane Lab/Cath Lab/Hybrid OR and supervise personnel.
• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with the health care delivery team.
• Assess quality of patient care services with the management team.
• Assist Director with budgetary and strategic planning opportunities.

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is responsible for the day to day business operations of the EP/Biplane Lab/Cath Lab/Hybrid OR and the oversight of personnel. This position provides direct patient care and collaborates with other members of the health care delivery team to deliver quality patient care, including assisting in procedures. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the clinical coordinator is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the department. The clinical coordinator also collaborates with the Director regarding budgetary and strategic planning opportunities for improvement. The clinical coordinator will assist the Director in providing nursing leadership to the unit and overseeing the clinical operations of the departments. Core Competencies will be assessed in accordance to the units’ specific patient population served.

What qualifications you will need:

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Registered Nurse

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in specialty.
• Supervisory experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor Degree in related field.
• EP/Cath experience.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
