Methodist Hospital Metropolitan in San Antonio, TX, is hiring a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Phase II Recovery PAT to oversee delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in the unit. You will coordinate nursing functions, supervise staff, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires an RN license in Texas (or multi-state compact) and a current BLS certification, with a preference for BSN and 3+ years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree RN program.
• Active Registered Nurse license to practice in Texas or Multi‑State RN Compact; Texas license within 60 days if on compact.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Minimum of two years healthcare experience.
• BSN preferred and at least 3 years of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with leadership; serve as a resource to staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Lead in a way that inspires commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department. In collaboration with other members of the leadership team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

You should be a graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nurse program.

You should possess your Registered Nurse License to practice as a professional RN in the state of Texas or an Active Multi‑State RN Compact License. If you have a Compact License you will be required to obtain a Texas RN License within 60 days of hire.

You should have a current American Heart Association BLS Certification

You should have a minimum of two years of healthcare experience.

It is preferred that you have your BSN and at least 3 years of healthcare experience.
