Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy unit. You will coordinate all aspects of nursing care with a multidisciplinary team and support admission and discharge processes.

The CNC partners with leadership to improve outcomes, provides coaching and training to staff, and helps with staffing and scheduling. Requirements include an active RN license in Texas or a compact license, BLS, ACLS, and 1+ year of

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ years experience in healthcare required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Nursing Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred

• 1+ years experience in healthcare required

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
