Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Neuro Trauma RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions. You will collaborate with management to monitor nursing care and support staff across the team.

You will coach, mentor, and train staff, assist with admissions/discharges, and work with leadership to improve outcomes and service. This role emphasizes scheduling support and staff development.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or valid compact state licensure.
• Over 1 year related nursing experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all unit functions in partnership with management.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes and staffing.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse state of NH or valid compact state licensure
• Over 1 year related experience in Nursing
• Associate Degree in Nursing
