Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to oversee unit operations, provide clinical guidance, and support nursing staff. This role coordinates admissions and transfers, conducts rounds, and ensures appropriate staffing based on census and acuity.

The position requires an RN license, a nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred), and at least two years of clinical experience. CPR certification and specialty credentials within two years are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required; specialty credentials preferred within two years.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient admissions and transfers.
• Make rounds to monitor patient conditions.
• Manage bed control and staffing based on census and acuity.
• Act as a resource for staff and medical personnel; delegate tasks.
• Participate in staff evaluations and orientation.
• Lead unit activities during codes or emergencies; problem-solve patient care issues.
