Job summary

Join Methodist Hospital Metropolitan in San Antonio as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Labor and Delivery. You will lead patient-centered care, coordinate shift activities, and support staff with established policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes quality outcomes and a caring, compassionate approach. The position requires an RN license with a Diploma/Bachelor/Associate degree and certifications (ACLS, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation) within specified timeframes, plus at least 1 year of RN

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license is required (RN).
• RN Diploma, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination on the unit during the shift.
• Serves as a resource person for staff and supports policies, procedures, and the organization’s mission.
• Collaborates with team to optimize clinical outcomes and departmental performance.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other Awith established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
