Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Intermediate Care unit. The CNC delivers high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in partnership with the management team and coordinates unit functions to ensure excellent patient experiences.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assist with admissions and discharges, and support leadership with outcomes and service improvements. RN licensure is required, with ACLS/BLS timing expectations.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active practice required.
• Strong teamwork with physicians, therapists and support staff.
• Ability to coordinate care and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient-centered nursing care.
• Assist with admission and discharge planning.
• Provide coaching and training to staff for performance improvements.
• Assist with staff scheduling and unit operations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse
