BJC HealthCare in Valley Park, Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with an Oncology focus to join the team on the 13th Floor, Center for Advanced Medicine.

The role is a staff RN position with a Monday–Friday schedule, 5-8 hour day shifts, no weekends or major holidays, and a hybrid work arrangement. Oncology experience and strong patient education are preferred.

The nurse coordinators work hand in hand with their physician and patient/family to ensure appropriate care is coordinated before, during, and after their treatment. Job functions include scheduling of appointments and treatments, telephone triage, patient and family education, and numerous other responsibilities.

Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose

Coordinates the health care of select patient populations/designated service across the continuum of care. Responsible for coordination of patient contact, patient education, prepares patient/family for procedure/test in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Coordinates the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical practice.
• Monitors care and data to optimize patient outcomes.
• Facilitate the education of patients and families.

• Ensures actions meet and support the overall goals of the business.
