• Strong communication and collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• BSN preferred; CCRN/CVRN or interventional radiology nursing certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Clinical Nurse-Angio Specialist provides direct, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing vascular and interventional angiographic procedures in an on-site setting located in Loma Linda, CA. This full-time role includes assessing patients before, during, and after procedures; administering medications and contrast agents as ordered; monitoring vital signs and hemodynamic status; and collaborating closely with physicians, technologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care. The nurse prepares procedure rooms and equipment, maintains sterile technique, and assists with complex interventions and emergency responses. Additional responsibilities include patient and family education, documentation in the electronic health record, participation in quality improvement and safety initiatives, and support for the organization’s mission of whole-person care.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Experience in interventional radiology, cardiac cath lab, angiography, or critical care with strong skills in patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedural support.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and respond appropriately to urgent and emergent situations.
• Proficiency in electronic health record documentation, adherence to infection prevention and safety standards, and careful attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, including patient education and advocacy.
• Commitment to whole-person, patient-centered care and alignment with the organization’s faith-based mission and values.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; relevant specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, CVRN, or interventional radiology nursing) is an advantage.
