Job summary

University of Miami Health System in Miami is seeking an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery fully trained in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for movement, pain and behavior disorders.

The candidate will perform comprehensive surgical care, including trauma and epilepsy interventions, and engage in clinical service at UHealth Tower and affiliated UM locations, VA Medical Center, and Jackson Main Hospital.

Qualifications

• Completed a full Neurological Surgery Residency Program.
• Fellowship of at least one year in Functional, Trauma or Epilepsy.
• Board eligible in Neurosurgery; Florida medical license or license eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic neurosurgical care across movement, pain and behavior disorders.
• Treat severe traumatic injuries and epilepsy-related conditions.
• Deliver clinical services at UHealth Tower and affiliated UM locations, VA Medical Center and Jackson Main Hospital.
