Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Missouri is seeking a Clinical Navigator to be the face of our hospital. You will cultivate referral relationships, manage territory, and complete patient assessments to drive admissions.

You will collaborate with the Admissions Manager, nursing staff, and other colleagues to improve the referral and admission process and enhance patient and payer satisfaction. Join our PAMily and help support recovery and education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy is required.
• Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate referral relationships, manage assigned territory, and complete patient assessments.
• Make sales contacts and analyze referral and admission data within the territory.
• Collaborate with Admissions Manager, admission staff, nursing and other internal and external staff to facilitate referral conversion.
• Provide feedback for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, the referral/admission process and patient and referral source satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders including prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers and payer representatives.

Provides feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, the referral and admission process and patient and referral source satisfaction. Develops and maintains excellent relationships to all stakeholders including prospective patient, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers and payer representatives.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy is required. Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the designated field of license, preferably with rehabilitation/LTACH and marketing experience.
