Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our patient-centered team. You will deliver evidence-based care, participate in performance improvement activities, and support quality standards across the department.

Responsibilities include clinical mentorship, chart audits, staff education, and collaboration with physicians and stakeholders to enhance patient outcomes while upholding AdventHealth's mission and values in a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with active license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1+ year experience as licensed PT

Responsibilities

• Develops and participates in practice changes to support quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices and other stakeholders to build referral relationships and consumer marketing and public awareness.
• Coordinates regular chart audits and reviews for accurate and timely completion for the assigned area/team, including input of PI data, and educates the clinical team.
• Performs all duties of a Clinician per the Clinicians job description based on license; serves as a clinical resource for physicians, stakeholders, patients, and staff.
• Oversees care provided by clinical and support staff, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and performance appraisal of new hires and rehab staff.
