We are seeking an experienced Clinical Monitor to join our Independent Monitoring Unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a mission-driven clinical professional who is passionate about disability rights and wants to use their expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness.
As a Clinical Monitor, you will work as part of a collaborative team to monitor the quality and safety of services provided to people with disabilities across Illinois. You will conduct on-site monitoring visits at facilities and community-based programs, assess services and supports, and help ensure that individuals receive appropriate care in safe, respectful, and person-centered environments.
A key part of this role is supporting successful transitions from institutional settings into the community and identifying opportunities to improve services and outcomes. You will also analyze information gathered through monitoring activities, prepare written reports, and develop recommendations that can contribute to meaningful systemic change.
