The Division of Medical Physics provides broad clinical services across multiple clinics, with CAMPEP-accredited residency and proton therapy capabilities.

Appointments depend on background and series (APM 278/275/270/280). The role includes clinical coverage at Moores Cancer Center, teaching in residency programs, and potential Health Sciences

Qualifications

• PhD in medical physics, radiation oncology, or a related field.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in radiation oncology physics.
• Enrolled in or completed a CAMPEP Medical Physics residency program.
• 5+ peer-reviewed publications and 3 invited talks preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with Varian hardware/software and VisionRT AlignRT.
• Extramural service to at least 1 professional society preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage at Moores Cancer Center and other facilities in the greater San Diego area.
• Teach within the radiation oncology and medical physics residency programs.
