Job summary

Hendricks seeks a clinical professional to assist in delivering health care and patient care management in a clinical capacity. The role focuses on direct patient care, triage, documentation, and teaching within the practice.

The successful candidate will maintain up-to-date records, assist with testing and procedures, and ensure smooth patient flow throughout visits. A Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant Program or accredited Nursing Program or be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.
• Those hired prior to 2018 are grandfathered from the educational and/or certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care for facility clients.
• Maintains knowledge of normal/abnormal parameters to identify at-risk clients.
• Responds to telephone calls and triages appropriately.
• Provides patient teaching and discharge instructions.
• Documents patient care and billing information in the medical record.
• Assists with testing, procedures, minor surgeries and immunizations as supervised by physicians.
• Maintains and organizes patient education materials and supplies.
