Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in a hospital or clinic setting (preferred).
• Certified/registered MA certification (preferred) or diploma from an accredited MA program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Light typing skills; computer knowledge; accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to present information clearly to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per physician directives.
• Assist patients to ambulate and transfer to exam tables.
• Prepare lab specimens for shipment and assist procedures.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate referrals as required.
