Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor to join our team. This role involves teaching aspiring healthcare professionals in an 8-10 week program, with availability during weekday mornings. No prior teaching experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary instruction following an established course outline to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in medical assisting topics and effective teaching strategies.
• Facilitate skill labs with an assistant instructor.
• Grade assignments and exams.
• Uphold professional standards and conduct.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related field.
• Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology, and Medical Math.
• Experience with front office procedures.
• Experience with back-office procedures such as EKG, Urine analysis, Vital signs, Injections, Wound care, and Bandaging.
• No teaching experience necessary.
• Energetic, passionate, and able to mentor students.
• Proficient with computers and technology.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Current CPR certification.
