CALRegional is seeking a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor in Live Oak, TX (78233). The role runs 5:30 PM–9:30 PM, Monday–Thursday, with a hybrid schedule (2 days remote, 2 days on-site) during the 8–10 week programs.

Applicant is expected to mentor students and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction. The ideal candidate has 5 years of MA experience, familiarity with A&P, medical terminology and pharmacology, CPR certification, and comfort with technology and lab

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience.
• Back-office procedures: EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric care, minor wound care.

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction following an established course outline.
• Assist in student learning outcomes.
• Grade class assignments and exams.
• Facilitate skill labs with an assistant skill instructor.
• Maintain professionalism and conduct.
