Job summary

Providence is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support licensed clinicians and perform delegated duties to assist in patient care. This role requires competency across MA I tasks, adherence to policies, and commitment to the care mission in the Southwest Washington region.

Ideal candidates have hands-on clinical training, MFA/CMA background, and ability to obtain vital signs, injections, and med administration with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months of Healthcare experience
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
