Job summary

Providence Medical Group seeks a Medical Assistant I to support basic patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. The role blends clinical tasks with essential administrative duties to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

The MA I will perform under established policies to help deliver compassionate, patient-centered services. Eligible candidates have completed accredited MA programs or apprenticeship and possess basic clinical skills and EHR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have completed hands-on clinical training as a medical assistant in an accredited program.
• Graduate of an approved medical assistant apprenticeship, or equivalent.
• Two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum one year of MA clinical experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist under delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide basic patient care.
• Perform administrative and clinical duties per established policies and procedures.
