Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program with diploma within 90 days.
• Completion of Medical Assistant externship (160 hours) verified on MA school website.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and patient care teams.
• Assist the patient care team in implementing the medical plan of care.
• Help ensure smooth patient flow and department workflow.
• Leverage education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to gain cooperation.
• Perform duties under the direction of a clinician.
