Job summary

Intuitive Health’s Legacy ER & Urgent Care unit seeks an experienced Clinical Manager (RN) to lead nursing and EMT teams across Prosper, Coppell, McKinney, Allen, North Richland Hills and Frisco locations. This role ensures adherence to clinical policies, drives teamwork and operational excellence, and reports to the Operations Leader.

The position offers a salary range of $106,000 to $118,000 plus a 10% annual performance bonus and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Plano is not included.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical staff (excluding providers and radiology) in alignment with Intuitive Health and hospital leadership.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard clinical staff in coordination with the Hospital.
  • Deliver ongoing training, education, and mentoring to clinical staff.
  • Provide leadership development and coaching to clinical team members.
  • Foster a culture of respect and inclusivity among non-physician clinical staff.
  • Support patient- and team-centered culture focused on service, safety, and excellence.
  • Develop and manage clinical staff schedules.
  • Assist Hospital with performance evaluations using hospital processes and tools.
  • Participate in committees and initiatives with Intuitive Health and Hospital.

Legacy ER & Urgent Care Clinical Manager (RN)

Salary Range $106,000 to $118,000 plus a 10% annual performance bonus

Sign on Bonus of $15,000

Please note this position is not located in Plano. Locations include Prosper, Coppell, McKinney, Allen, North Richland Hills and 2 locations in Frisco

The Clinical Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the clinical team—excluding providers and radiology personnel—including nursing staff and EMTs. While not directly involved in patient care, the Clinical Manager is accountable for ensuring that all care delivered is in alignment with hospital clinical policies and protocols. This role promotes a culture of teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the Intuitive Health Operations Leader, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to hospital leadership, the Clinical Manager plays a critical role in fostering partnership and alignment across both organizations. They provide direct leadership, coordination, and performance oversight of the nursing and EMT teams, driving a high standard of care and service in a patient-centered environment.

Leadership & Team Oversight
  • Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical staff (excluding providers and radiology personnel), in alignment with Intuitive Health and Hospital leadership.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage onboarding of clinical staff in coordination with the Hospital.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training, education, and mentoring to clinical staff.
  • Deliver ongoing leadership development and coaching to clinical team members.
  • Serve as the cultural champion for non-physician clinical employees, fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment.
  • Support a patient- and team-centered culture focused on service, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and manage clinical staff schedules.
  • Assist the Hospital, as directed, with performance evaluations using the Hospital’s processes, timelines, and tools.
  • Participate in applicable committees and hospital or Intuitive initiatives, including community outreach.
Quality & Compliance
  • Coordinate with Clinical Leadership, Medical Director, and other Clinical Managers to implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Hospital policies and protocols, as well as regulatory, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in regulatory and accreditation preparedness and survey activities.
  • Collaborate with Intuitive and Hospital teams to support and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Manage the customer service experience at the site, in coordination with the Medical Director and operations leadership.
  • Promote a welcoming, reassuring environment for patients and their families—encouraging active participation in care decisions.

  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, which may include light housekeeping duties as needed (e.g., emptying trash, mopping, wiping down surfaces).
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support clinical and operational excellence.

This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching.
  • This job operates in a healthcare setting. This role may routinely come in contact with patients who have contagious illnesses or diseases. This position would require moderate noise from phones, computers, printers and medical equipment. The job also requires working near moving mechanical parts and working near toxic or caustic materials. The position requires lifting weights of up to 25 pounds.
