Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC is launching its first Urgent Care in July 2027. We are hiring a Clinical Manager to oversee clinical operations at our new site in Northeast Washington, DC.

The role requires a BSN and at least 5 years of nursing experience including pediatric and 1 year of leadership. You will lead nursing practice, advocate for evidence-based care, and guide a collaborative team to excellent patient outcomes.

We are hiring a Clinical Manager to oversee clinical operations at our new site in Northeast Washington, DC.About the Role: All nursing practice is based on the legal scope of practice, national and specialty nursing standards, CNMC Policies and Procedures, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Professional Model of Care requires registered professional nurses to be responsible and accountable for their own practice. CNMC supports the development of RN relationships within the community; specifically, those relationships associated with the health and wellbeing of the community at large.What You'll Bring:Minimum EducationBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Required)Minimum Work Experience5 years of Nursing experience. Demonstrated experience in a charge nurse role in a comparable setting. Minimum of one-year recent pediatric experience in a comparable setting. Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience.
