Job summary

Anchor Health seeks an experienced Nursing leader to oversee hospice/home health clinical teams and drive care quality. You will coach leaders, manage staffing strategies, and collaborate on budgeting to support operations.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in California.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3 years of hospice/home health management experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Alternatively, 4 years of clinical experience with at least 1 year in leadership.
  • Experience in clinical decisionmaking, quality management, and performance evaluation.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of healthcare operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery of all direct and indirect patient care services across the clinical team.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to clinical leadership staff to promote continuous improvement in care quality and service delivery.
  • Support clinical leaders with team management, staffing strategies, and operational planning.
  • Assist clinical staff with patient and caregiver assessment, care planning, implementation, and outcome evaluation as needed.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership in development, management, and monitoring of the operational budget.
  • Monitor operational and census trends to anticipate changes that may affect staffing, revenue, or expenses.
  • Evaluate the performance of clinical leadership staff and support their development in clinician performance assessment.
  • Participate in recruitment, evaluation, and separation of clinical personnel.
  • Ensure clinical performance evaluations are completed annually or more frequently when required.
  • Oversee accuracy, maintenance, and compliance of all patient clinical documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations related to clinical documentation.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of clinical supplies and equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate onboarding and orientation programs for new staff.
  • Plan and deliver ongoing inservice training and continuing education opportunities.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, productivity monitoring, and quality reviews.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant patient services.
  • Contribute to organizational goals, policies, and procedures, and oversee their implementation.

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse license in California.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; advanced degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of recent management experience within hospice or home health services, including supervisory or administrative responsibilities.
  • Alternatively, four years of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting with at least one year in a leadership or administrative role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical decisionmaking, quality management, and performance evaluation.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop professional and administrative staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards.
Pay:

$60 +per hour, depending on experince
